The second Orplid album
On their second album, Orplid convey the simple impressions and emotions of nature with plucked and wailing electric guitar, creating a psychological and bombastic sound-painting, rife with classical and religious thought. Once more, there are influences drawn from the local poetic tradition, from German literature and Friedrich Schiller's poetry ("Das Mädchen aus der Fremde"), works reflecting hope, deceit, and all the polarities of the human soul.
